The Levant refers to the countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region: Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel and Palestine. Their cuisine offers some of the oldest, healthiest, most easily digestible recipes in the world. Levantine cuisine features intense flavours, colours and fragrances. This culinary tradition is currently one of the latest food trends, with its range of spices being perfect not only for seasoning meat but also offering culinary inspiration for vegetables and plant-based meat substitutes in particular.
Culinary inspiration
Levantine cuisine features intense flavours, colours and fragrances. We offer 5 spice mixtures ranging from fresh/fruity to aromatic/intense. Three of these spice mixtures are also available in organic quality. Typically Middle Eastern spices work particularly well as seasoning for barbecued meat, but they are also well-suited to plant-based products like tofu.
